The Ballerina three part bowl set is seen in the ROSICE 1958 glass catalogue as an artists sketch, pictured below.
This catalogue doesn't give this set a name but it identifies its individual parts with number of 2483.
The name Ballerina is said to have been given by a collector.
The name Ballerina is perfect as it clearly differentiates this figural flower frog from a very similar one named Dancing girl that was made by Jobling who was a British glass company.

For some reason the 8 square shape flower arranging holes hadn't formed at the time of manufacture.
Which has resulted in the 8 flower arranging holes having to be drilled later.
It is seen in pink in a frosted finish and in green in a clear finish.
