The bowl sets pictured above are not shown in any of the August Walther and Sohne catalogues that I have seen.
The Marina one piece flower frog and the Pauline bowl have been combined to create these sets.
The Marina one piece flower frog is seen in the1935 August Walther and Sohne catalogue. It is 21.5cm wide by 19cm high.
Seen in crystal, amber, green, blue, pink and Orlit malachite (cloud glass) in a frosted finish.
The Pauline bowl is seen in the 1935 August Walther and Sohne catalogue.
It is 32cm long by 21cm wide.
Seen in crystal, amber, green, blue, pink and Orlit brown (cloud glass) in a frosted finish.
Both of these items are listed separately in the catalogue.
As a collector of bowl sets I believe it is acceptable to combine pieces of glass to make up sets that is not seen in a glass makers catalogue.
However it is important to make sure that the items being used to make up these sets are pieces of glass made by the same maker.
By adhering to this philosophy the historical significance of the set is retained.
Should pieces of glass from different makers be used to make up a set, it becomes what is called in the collecting world a Marriage and not a true set.
