The bowl is 26.8 cm (10.5") in diameter. The overall height is 20.5 cm (8") high. Seen in green other colours likely are crystal, amber, blue and pink. TRESCO Flower Set Pictured below is a page from a catalogue of a company called CLAYTON MAYERS & CO. LTD. The exact date of this catalogue is unknown however as the prices are shown in schilling and pence, we can determine it is before the 15th February 1971 as this is when Britain changed their currency to decimal. The catalogue pictures above have been kindly sent to me by a collector from Scotland. The following information has been obtained from the Graces Guide to British Industrial History Web Page and I quote:- CLAYTON MAYERS & CO. LTD. Grays Inn Road London. The company was selling the glass of Davidson, Moor and Baccarat along with glass from other makers. DRAPED LADY flower frog table top centerpiece combination. The trays are 30.5 cm x 30.5 cm ( 12" x 12") square. There are provision in each corner to place flower buds or candles. Seen in a range of Cambridge colours in a clear and frosted finish. The Cambridge flower frogs with a 10 cm (4") diameter base pictured below fit the recess in the center of the tray, Draped Lady Rose Lady Bashful Charlotte Two Kids Trays are also seen with various applied decorations.
This two piece set is 25 cm (9⅞") high. Seen in crystal, amber, green, blue and pink in a clear and frosted finish. The bowl is 25.5 cm (10") in diameter and 7.5 cm ( 3") high. The central column is 18.5.cm (7¼") high. There are four evenly spaced Cherubs positioned around the central column. The CHERUBS center piece is also seen with different shaped bowls that have a floral design. Seen in crystal, amber, green, blue and pink in clear and frosted finish. The maker and country of origin of these center pieces is unknown at this point in time.
