APHRODITE  (AN) figural flower frog.
Aphrodite was the goddess of love and beauty, and the protector of sailors.
(AN) indicates that the figural flower frog  has been named by me and stands for 'Author's Name'.
Picture

It is 25cm(9⅞ inches) high in one piece.
Seen in opalescent other colours likely are crystal, amber, green, blue and pink in a clear and frosted finish.

This figurine is pictured below on page 22 of a Rosice Glass Company's 1958 catalogue it is numbered 1928 and sized  at
19cm(7½ inches
) high and unnamed.

The Figural vase set sketch below is not seen in any of the Rosice catalogues that I know of.
I have made this mock up picture using cut and paste.

This vase set will only be possible if the bottom spigot of the figurine fits securely into the center hole of the flower frog ring.

Pictured above is the POISSON VOLANT (Flying Fish)  two piece  bowl set.
These two piece bowl sets are not easy to come by and are considered to be rare.
The bowl is 28cm in diameter.
The turquoise blue colour of this bowl set is amazing.
Seen in crystal, amber, green, blue and pink in a clear and frosted finish.

The bowl pictured below is made in the same pattern as the bowl above.

The difference is in the way the rim of this bowl has been flattened, to make a larger diameter bowl but a much shallower one.

The Dancing Lady, Flamingo's and Poisson Volant (Flying Fish) figurines are used in these bowls to make Float Bowl sets.

AUGUST WALTHER AND SOHNE a German Glass Company

MARINA oval bowl sets(AN)
Picture
Picture

The bowl sets pictured above are not shown in any of the August Walther and Sohne catalogues that I have seen.

The Marina one piece flower frog and the Pauline bowl  have been combined to create these sets.

The Marina one piece flower frog is seen in the1935 August Walther and Sohne catalogue.  It is  21.5cm wide by 19cm high.
Seen in crystal, amber,  green, blue, pink and Orlit malachite (cloud glass) in a frosted finish.

The Pauline bowl is seen in  the 1935 August Walther and Sohne catalogue.
It is
 32cm long by 21cm wide.
Seen in crystal, amber, green, blue, pink and Orlit brown (cloud glass) in a frosted finish.

Both of these items are listed separately in the catalogue.

As a collector of bowl sets I believe it is acceptable to combine pieces of glass to make up  sets that is not seen in a glass makers catalogue.

However it is important to make sure that the items being used to make up these sets are pieces of glass made by the same maker.

By adhering to this philosophy the historical significance of the set is retained.

Should pieces of glass from different makers be used to make up a set, it becomes  what is called  in the collecting world a Marriage and not a true set.

As the Bodhisattva of Compassion, she hears the cries of all beings.

Quan Yin is said to enjoy a strong resonance with the Christian Mary, the Mother of Jesus, and the Tibetan goddess Tara.
