Battery powered novelty night lights are seen in a variety of shapes and sizes.
I have tried to research  the companies who had made these little creations without success.

The only makers information that I have been able to find is from what is  seen stamped on the underside of  the lights.

Japanese made night lights:

PIFCO                                                AMICO                                       MADE IN JAPAN
MADE IN JAPAN                            MADE IN JAPAN

Night lights that were made in Hong Kong:

                              ROSE HONG KONG                                                                 HILCO
MADE IN BRITISH C.C                                                      BRITISH EMPIRE
( The letters C.C stand for Crown Colony )                                                     MADE IN HONG  KONG

United States made night lights:

CHASE BRASS & COPPER Co Inc
Waterbury . Conn
US MADE

Pictured below is a sketch of a trade mark seen on one light.

The glass shades of these lights are mostly seen in crystal with a frosted finish.
Some are also seen with paint decorated features.

Coloured shades are rare.
The bodies of these lights are made of pressed sheet metal or sheet brass.
Those made of  sheet metal have a chrome or painted finish.
Those made of sheet brass have been polished and clear coated to protect the polished finish.

As it was a great success it was reopened on May 26th 1934 and ran until October 31st of the same year.
This world's fair was organised to celebrate the city's centennial 1833 to 1933
