Bateau a Voile (Sailing ship) desk lamp by Pierre d' Avesn a French art glass designer. It is said to have been made in the 1930's. This two piece lamp set is 22 cm (8¾") high. The blak glass plinth with light socket which the ship sits on is 13.5 cm (5¼")long and 12.75 cm (5") wide. The ship seen in amber other colours possible. It is 21 cm (8¼") high, the base is 13.5 cm(5¼") x 7.5 cm( 3") Seen in crystal in a frosted finish. Other colours likely are amber, green, blue and pink.
