MADONNA Candlestick set

The MADONNA Candlestick set was made by
​August Walther & SÖhne who were a German Glass Company.
 The two piece Madonna Candlestick sets are 22 cm (9") high x 20 cm (8") wide.
​They are extremely rare.

Note ​the candles are not included in the measurements.

The Candlestick

The one piece black candlestick is 8 cm ( 3" ) high  x 20 cm (8") wide.

The pictures and measurements of the Madonna Candlestick set pictured above have been kindly supplied by a collector from  Rotterdam in the Netherlands.​

The MADONNA Figurine

The Madonna figurine is 15.2 cm (6") high.
The measurement does not include the round base section on the underside of the figurine.  
The figurines can vary in height.
They are seen in crystal, amber, green, blue, and pink in a frosted finish.
They are extremely rare.
The above Madonna figurine belongs to a South Australian collector, who has kindly allowed me to photograph it and include it in this article.

The MADONNA Candlestick set is as seen in a 1935
​August Walther and SÖhne catalogue.

The catalogue picture was also provided by the same
​South Australian collector. 

​​The catalogue description is written in German, French, English and Spanish.
White is the only colour listed in this catalogue.
Due to the fact that a black candlestick has now been seen, it is also possible ​that they were made in  other colours. 

The following figurines were also made by August Walther and SÖhne
They are seen in crystal, amber, green, blue, and pink.

These figurines can be used in combination with the one piece candlestick.
​The base diameter measurements of these figurines are the same as the Madonna figurine.
