It measures 65cm (25½")high x 60cm (23 ½")wide x 25cm (9¾")
deep.
It is made from combination of cut crystal glass and gilt bronze.

The elephant figurine and the tray on which the elephant stands are made of crystal glass.

There are twelve crystal drinking cups that have been engraved and gilt decorated.
These cups are stored on both side of the elephants harness on hooks.
Picture
There are four engraved crystal and gilt decorated liqueur decanters that fit within a removable and lockable compartment.

What an amazing piece of craftmanship.
Quoted from the Sotheby's website

'It is said to be probably made for the 1878 Paris Exhibition.
And reported to be unseen for decades, it resurfaced at Sotheby’s in 2015.
It is said to incorporate some newly-made Baccarat replacement crystal glass pieces.

According to Sotheby’s, ‘The body of the elephant in frosted & pearlized crystal with a harness, draped & ornamented with gilt-bronze, supporting a palanquin in the form of an Indian temple carved with the god Ganesh in low relief.'
‘The palanquin in the form of a liqueur set containing a removable stand containing four decanters in engraved & gilded crystal.'

" McKee Glass was founded in 1834 by five McKee brothers in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania USA.
The factory moved to Jeanette Pennsylvania in 1888 and combined with the National Glass Company.
In 1903 the company reorganized to become the McKee factory". Wikipedia
The FAN DANCER lamp is 11¼"(28.6 cm) high and 7⅝"
(19.4 cm)wide in one piece

Seen in crystal, amber, green, blue and pink in a frosted finish.
It is also seen in Jade(green) and Milk (white) glass.
Picture
Whilst recently viewing a program on Foxtel called American Pickers some interesting information came to light about the Fan Dancer lamp.
The two pickers in the show were looking at a collection owned by Amber Digiovanni and in her collection was one of the Fan Dancer lamps in pink.

Amber Digiovanni mentioned and I quote "The lamp was made to commemorate the artistic flair of  Sally Rand who was a 1920's Burlesque Fan Dancer
I find  this information fascinating and  worthy of a mention.

Picture
The photograph of the purple Seagull flower frog has been kindly supplied by a collector from INDIANA  in the USA.
The date of its manufacture is unknown.
It is 10 inches (28 cm) high in one piece.

Up until this point in time I have only seen the Seagull flower Frog in crystal as pictured below.
It was made by the Cambridge Glass Company in Cambridge OHIO in the USA.

Picture
The following Figural & Flower Frog colour chart is compiled by the NATIONAL CAMBRIDGE COLLECTORS INC. in the USA.
The chart lists the Seagull flower frogs as only being made in CRYSTAL.
See the  forth row from the bottom of the chart.

Picture
It is interesting that one has now come to light in purple.

The collector who owns the purple Seagull flower frog has mentioned that another collector has seen one in amber.

Should you have one or know of one in any other colour please let me know.

A collector in Holland has kindly alerted me to an article on the  Pressglas Korrespondenz web site that gives a name to the maker of this figurine.
I have extracted the relevant information from this article dated 2017/2/06 on this German web site that credits Josef Riedel as the maker. I have included the article below.

Article extract as seen and written in German

Pressglas-Korrespondenz    2017-2
Eduard Stopfer, Marion & Rolf Gerlach,, SG Mai 2019/ August 2017 Segelschiff

Sailing ship as lamp attachment: Josef Riedel, Gablonz an der Neisse, before 1938.
Some time ago I was lucky enough to buy this sailing ship.
Dimensions: H 20.5 cm, W 7 cm, L 15.5 cm, in amber.
This ship has a circular recess on the back, which can be clearly seen in the picture. The base is hollow.
The execution is excellent! the origin was initially unknown to me.
During a visit to the Muzeum skla a bižutérie v Jablonci nad Nisou / Museum for Glass and Bijouterie, Gablonz an der Neisse,I showed a photo to Dr. Petr Nový, chief curator in the museum, he remembered seeing the picture before.
After a long search in the archive, he found this ship.
It was produced by the Josef Riedel glass factory in Unterpolaun before 1938 and had the article number 1946.

VEB Sachsen Glass came about when August Walther and SöHNE
became part of the nationalization of companies located in East Germany  following the end of World War II

Figural Flower Float Bowl Sets made by VEB Sachsenglas.

Görlitz Flower Float bowl set
Picture
The 1961  catalogue name of these four piece sets is  Görlitz.
The Figual flower frog is  17cm (6
¾) high in two pieces.
The float bowl is 26.5cm (10½") in diameter.
Colours likely are crystal, amber, green, blue and pink in a clear and frosted finish.
I have not seen an example of this set since I started collecting float bowl sets in 1999.
Should you have or know of the existence of one of these sets please let me know and if possible email me a picture.
Pictured below is a page from a VEB Sachsen Glass 1961 catalogue.

Picture
Also pictured on this 1961 catalogue page is a bowl set named Dianna.
The very same bowl set is seen in the August Walther & S
ÖHNE 1936 catalogue pictured below, however it named Undine.
Picture
Another point of interest is the name Lilli given the figurine in the Dianna bowl set and Gorlitz bowl set shown in the 1961 catalogue.

Whilst the name Lilli has been given to both of these figurines, they are the totally  different in appearance.
