ATHENA (AN) bowl set
(AN) indicates that the set has been named by me and stands for 'Author's Name'.
The maker and country of origin of these sets is unknown at this point in time

These three piece sets are thought to have been made in the 1930's.
Seen in crystal, amber, green, blue and pink in a clear and frosted finish.

Note that the Athena figurine is seen combined with the flower frogS pictured below.

This advertisement appeared in the NEWS newspaper in Adelaide South Australia on the 25th November 1938

The advertisement reads.
​72 only just arrived - newest shapes in continental Fruit and Flower Bowls in wanted colours of Green, Amber, Pink or Blue.
Several shapes to choose from, including a large bowl approximately 16 inches in diameter, with flower block  and figure center  piece  and including the newest posy ring on outside edge complete with black stand.

KNEELING LADY  bowl set and BOWL and  VASES on STAND

KNEELING LADY bowl set
The maker and country of origin of this set is unknown at this point in time.

This two piece set is thought to have been made in the 1930's. 
The figurine and stand is 23 cm (9") high by 25.5 cm (10") in length in one piece.
The bowl is 20.5 cm (8") in  diameter.
​Seen in crystal, amber, green, blue and pink in a frosted finish.

Should you know of a catalogue that can confirm the maker of this items please let me know.
Bowl and vases on stand set.
The maker and country of origin of this set is also unknown at this point in time.

The bowl and stand has the same interlocking ring pattern as seen on the bowl of the Kneeling Lady set.
​The stand is 37.5 cm long and 14 cm wide and 4 cm high.
The bowl is 19.5 cm in diameter and 9.5 cm high.
​The vases are 10 cm in diameter and 15.3 cm high.​

The collector who owns this set has indicated to me that the two vases that accompany this set may have been made by
​Paul & Staglich who were a German Glass Company.

The bowl and stand has the same interlocking ring pattern as seen on the bowl of the Kneeling Lady set.

The bowl and stand are the same as the  previous set but the vases are different.
Below is a clearer picture of the Tauben (pigeons) vases that is seen in the set above.

​TAUBEN (pigeons) vase made by Libochvoice Glass.
As seen and number 1584 in the Libochovice  1958 catalogue.
​Libochovice were a Czechoslovakian company.

​TAUBEN vase made by Rosice Glass.
As seen and numbered 2472 in the Rosice 1958 catalogue.
Rosice were a Czechoslovakian company.

​Colours likely are crystal, amber, green, blue and pink in a clear and frosted finish.

Note the differences in the shape of the vases and design of the Tauben (pigeons) pictured below.

​Pictured below is a page from a Josef Inwald 1940 glass catalogue.
Seen is a bowl #11936 and under plate #11971 which have an interlocking ring pattern that is similar in design to that is seen on the Kneeling Lady bowl set and Bowl and Tauben (pigeons) vases on Stand.

It is possible that one of Josef Inwalds glass factories could have also made the Kneeling lady set and the Bowl and vases on stand set.
