When placed under a UV light source this flower frog glows a bright green colour due to the uranium oxide that is present in the glass.
The uranium oxide is added to the raw materials during the glass making process and is reported to be harmless.

According to this chart AMBER is the only known colour in which the BUDDHA flower frog has so far been seen in.
We now know a LIGHT EMERALD coloured one has been made which can be added to the list.

It would appear that this LIGHT EMERALD coloured BUDDHA flower frog is a wonderful and very rare find.
