Pictured above is the POISSON VOLANT (Flying Fish)  two piece  bowl set.
These two piece bowl sets are not easy to come by and are considered to be rare.
The bowl is 28cm in diameter.
The turquoise blue colour of this bowl set is amazing.
Seen in crystal, amber, green, blue and pink in a clear and frosted finish.

The bowl pictured below is made in the same pattern as the bowl above.

The difference is in the way the rim of this bowl has been flattened, to make a larger diameter bowl but a much shallower one.

The bowl is said to be 31.5cm in diameter.
Other colours likely are crystal, green. blue and pink.

Hi, Neil thanks for your reply. It appears that Jayne has the same item and has everything under control. I'll wait to see what you make of her piece, wether it"s a Josef or not.

Cheers Jo

I have the frosted glass flamingo pair but no bowl. I am really interested in old 'Carnival' glass and wonder whether this is such a piece. Could you tell me what the selling price would be, should I put this for sale?

Hi, i have the green poisson volant bowl. No centrpiece unfortunately. However yhe glass is not uranium. Ive seen other people list these as being uranium. Could mine be a reproduction? Or was 2 different green glass used to make these?

Hi, I have bought 3 different styles of Poisson Volant 3 have been really bad and look like they must be reproductions. 3 are very detailed and I assume they are original Josef Inwald items, but all 3 are in 3 pieces?
Did Inwald make these in 3 pieces? and do you have a date they were manufactured?

I have a pink opaque fish centre piece from a three piece float bowl set. I would like to replace the missing pieces, which unfortunately were broken during a house move.
